25 March 2020, – Health minister Zweli Mkhize confirms the number of cases to have risen to 709. This is an increase of 155 new cases from the 554 cases confirmed on Tuesday.

Mkhize also confirmed that there will be an increase.

We are expecting quite an increase. We are still in very early days,”

There are 15 new cases in Free State and it’s of concern to the Minister of Health.
