Getting your Matric Results has been made easy. As soon as they are published on the 8th of January 2020, they will be accessible if you decide to register now or later on. NCS results will be announced on Tuesday, 7 January 2020 – Live in Vodaworld, Midrand according to SA News.
The formal results for individuals will be available on Wednesday, 08 January 2020. You can use the SABC matric result service as the SABC Education will release the matric results to all learners across every province in South Africa who registered to receive the results.
Your ID number and examination number are very important and are what you need to get your results at one go, or whenever available. You can register on any of the services such as:
Getting Matric Results via SMS
- To receive your results, SMS your examination number to 45856
- The system will then verify your exam number, when valid, you will instantly receive your results when available
- You will be charged R1.50 per SMS,
- Free SMSs do not apply
You also use the number 35658 and SMS your ID + your 13 digits examination number (leave a space in between). SMSs are charged at R1.50 per SMS, the result will be sent directly to your phone as soon as they are available.
Getting Matric Results via MatricsMate App
- Download the Android or iOS MatricsMate App for free on your app store
- Enter your 13 digits ID number as well as the examination number
- You will be able to view your results whenever they are available
Getting Matric Results via USSD
- Dial *120*45856# charged at R1.50 per 60 seconds, and enter your exam number to register,
- You will receive the results on your phone as soon as they are readily available
You may also use the *120*35658# and answer a few questions and enter your ID number, then you will receive your results per subject, you can opt-in or out at any point in time.
Getting Matric Results online
Candidates can use the Education Gov. website to find your results. The Department of Basic Education Website will send the results whenever they are available.
