Capitec will continue to charge you R1 for digital banking and the fees will not increase. Continue transferring between your accounts, and emailing yourself statement as well as prepaid purchases for free.
You will continue paying R8 for immediate payments using the Capitec App. A positive balance will continue to earn you interest.
Withdrawals at retailers are as low as R1.20 per withdrawal. You can get cash-back at Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers or Boxer stores nationwide. Withdrawals with the Capitec ATM cost between R6 and R8 per R1000. Withdrawals from a none-Capitec ATM will cost you R9 per R1000.
When you use the Capitec card to book for your flight, the international payments remain free and you will not be charged for currency conversion fees when you decide to make payments in the local currency.
