In a recent report by iBusiness, it was confirmed by NCID (National Institute for Communicable Diseases) that the first case was that of a 38-year-old traveler from Italy. In most recent news, the second case was confirmed – and the person who tested positive was a 39-year-old woman who was among the tour group.
Coronavirus South Africa: ‘3rd (third) case is only inevitable’
iBusiness would like South Africa to prepare for another case which is only a matter of time. it is advisable for parents to teach their kids good preventative habits for the illness. It is only a matter of time before each province is affected, as currently KZN and Gauteng are affected each by 1 patient (confirmed cases).
The symptoms are that of a normal cold flue, and Doctors in South Africa have confirmed that the Coronavirus is really like a bad flue, it comes and it goes – however, people who have a weak immune system are most at risk.
Practice good prevention habits, like washing your hands – stop hugging and kissing for now – and get tested regularly should you suspect anything.
Symptoms
- A dry cough
- A temperature
- Tiredness
- Shortness of breath (in more severe cases)
Should there be an alarming spread in South Africa do the following:
- Stay at home
- Avoid work, school, and other public areas
- Avoid public transport and taxis
- Get friends and family to delivery food, medicines, etc rather than going to the shops
- Discourage visitors
Should there be any more cases in South Africa, then when I will declare this a crisis, until then, there’s no need to panic.
