In a statement delivered by Sean Conley, it was confirmed that the United States President, Donal Trump, tested negative for the pandemic disease COVID-19, Coronavirus.
“This evening I received confirmation that the test is negative,” Trump tested days after he had a meeting with members who tested positive at his Florida resort with a Brazilian delegation.
“One week after having dinner with the Brazilian delegation in Mar-a-Lago, the president remains symptom-free,” added Conley.
The 73-year-old was never isolated, nor did he self-isolate because he said he had no symptoms and fears were that he infected the whole white-house – which was a possibility.
Following a bombardment of questions, The US President decided to get tested.
“I have been in daily contact with the CDC and White House Coronavirus Task Force, and we are encouraging the implementation of all their best practices for exposure reduction and transmission mitigation,” said Conley in a statement
People who have contact with a confirmed case are advised to self-isolate for 14 days, says the Official US.
The US President, in an effort to battle the pandemic disease, COVID-19, has declared a national state of emergency to release R805bn ($50bn).
