The JSE all share index closing the day at 64 282 from its opening price of 64 364.

The Rand is still under pressure but slightly recovered against the US Dollar yesterday, moving from R15.19to R15.07

President Cyril Ramaphosa has moved the country to adjusted alert level 1 allowing the curfew to be adjusted and increasing the capacity of indoor and outdoor gatherings. This will allow more economic activity to take place in the country.

Commodities where mixed with some of our listed commodities seeing recoveries and closing Thursday higher than their opening prices.

Gold gained by 1.8% moving from 1 726.37 USD/oz to 1 756.95 USD/oz.

Platinum slightly recovered, closing at 967.43 USD/oz from its opening price of 954.33 USD/oz.

Copper slipped by -2.5% closing Thursday with 9 174.00 USD/t from its opening price of 8 944.50 USD/t

Oil prices are still on the low with Brent Crude trading below the 80.00 USD mark. Brent Crude moved from 78.64 USD to closing at 78.52 USD.
