On 15 March 2020 just after NICD confirmed more cases, Dr. Zweli Mkhize reconfirms 13 more Coronavirus COVID-19 cases in South Africa – now with a total of 51 cases.

With more cases being confirmed South Africa is starting to be uneasy, hence there was an urgent meeting with all the Provincial MECs and HODs to discuss the latest situational analysis of each province.

“Last night the Minister and Deputy Minister of Health held an urgent National Health Council meeting with all the Provincial MECs and HODs for Health.”

“The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the latest situational analysis of each province as more cases COVID-19 cases are being confirmed.”

From now on, contact tracing will be done within 48 hours.

“The NHC agreed that in order to minimize the risk of further spread of the virus, contact tracing must be done within 48 hours.”

51 confirmed cases doesn't mean that only 51 people are infected. There are probably others walking around with the virus unintentionally spreading it. ? #LOCKSOUTHAFRICADOWN
