Episode 81 (289) – Episode 85 (293)

Lesley tempts Modise with a solution to make his trial go away and Lelo feels conflicted when she’s called to testify. Itumeleng makes progress in his battle against Maxine. Karel and Sarah play matchmaker for Tristan with a woman from a neighboring farm. Modise’s case is jeopardized, prompting Lesley to use scare tactics against Cindy. Itumeleng is curious as to why Amita rejected his offer.

The stress of the trial takes its toll on Mama Rose’s health and Marang is forced to reconsider her future with Itumeleng. Sarah uses Jack to trick Tristan into going a date.

Lelo decides to help Modise. Maxine is delighted when she discovers that her meeting with Itumeleng caused more trouble in his relationship and we find out how Tristan’s blind date unfolded.

Modise’s relief is short-lived, while Itumeleng and Maxine negotiate the terms of their partnership.  Jack’s jealousy grows when he finds out who Angie met for drinks, leading to Bernie and Ashwin having some fun at Jack’s expense.

Modise breaks his bail conditions. Jack feels insecure about Angie and gets a reality check. Ashwin and Amita have to navigate the awkward phase of their relationship. Bernie raises further doubt in Jack and Angie’s relationship.  Modsie makes a breakthrough and returns home.

Modise’s newly discovered evidence falls into the wrong hands while Lebata celebrates the calling of a new by-election. Jack and Angie deal with their jealousy. Zintle and Amita bond when they learn about each other’s similar past.

The charges against Modise are dropped while Maxine and Itumeleng’s bond grows stronger. Lelo admits that she may have feelings for Modise. Jack and Angie look for a private place to make up.

Modise is committed to his new job whilst Itumeleng gets distracted from Marang. When Jack is assigned to a beautiful female guest, Angie suggests they hide their relationship to make more money for their holiday. Will the idea pay off?

Maxine and Itumeleng face a crisis regarding their business plan. Marang is troubled by her relationship with Itumeleng and Modise takes charge of his life. Jack finds himself in a dangerous situation with Lilly. Mama Rose takes justice into her own hands and Maxine engineers at the end of Itumeleng and Marang’s relationship.

Jack withdraws from Lilly’s company which annoys Angie, while tension continues to rise between Itumeleng and Marang. Diksie and Zintle go for a wild night out on the town. Relationships are on edge at Dinaledi as gossip spreads about Jack and Lilly, and Itumeleng’s surprise for Marang doesn’t end well. Amita plays it cool as Zintle tries to win both her friendship and approval.

Maxine discovers that Modise won’t play along with the land exploration. The tension increases as Jack worries that Angie will discover the truth, while Zintle treads on dangerous grounds with Ashwin and Amita.

Bernie puts her feelings aside and decides to support Marang. Lelo and Modise apply pressure on the land exploration issues and Amita reveals her controlling side when Maxine proposes a new scheme. Angie walks in on the unthinkable!

Emotions run high when Angie and Jack have an explosive argument. Maxine invites Itumeleng in on a scheme she has created. Diksie receives disturbing news and Amita starts an interesting game of seduction.

Itumeleng is clear about his feelings leading Maxine to feel confident that her plan is working. A major change in Jack and Angie’s relationship makes Bernie, Lindsay, and Diksie embark on a campaign of revenge. Tristan receives a tempting offer.

Itumeleng’s concern grows on the eve of his Inauguration. Marang do soul searching after the big surprise. Tristan finds relief when he opens up about Kate’s affair and Zintle is invited to an exclusive event.

Itumeleng drops a bombshell at his Inauguration and Marang is distracted when Zintle does not return home. Jack’s jealousy grows after Angie spends the night at the Van Reenen house. Itumeleng makes a remarkable proposal at the Inauguration sending Maxine’s emotions spiraling sky-high. Jack has a momentary meltdown.

In the aftermath of the inauguration, Jack remains paranoid about Tristan and Angie’s growing relationship and Zintle lies to Marang. Lindsay and Bernie are concerned about Amita’s influence when Maxine orders her to hold down the fort.
