[ht_message mstyle=”success” title=”” show_icon=”” id=”” class=”” style=”” ]iRead: Hey! Here’s the link to the latest Powerball Results for Friday, 31 January 2020 for the R100 million Jackpot[/ht_message]

This is the biggest jackpot in 2020 standing at a massive R100 million for the Powerball Draw that’s to take place on Friday, 31 January 2020 on e.tv at 9 PM. No one won the Powerball that aired on the 28th of January 2020 – when the jackpot was reportedly R92 million. The Jackpot for this Friday is Guaranteed at R100 million, and draw ID 1064 will air tomorrow.

The previous Powerball 6 big winners walked away with R89, 545.30 each for getting five numbers correct, as for the Powerball Plus, the 3 big winners walked away with R77, 992.40 each. Tomorrow the Powerball Plus Jackpot will be estimated at R32 million. It is important to note that matching the Powerball only pays out R10 and R5 for the matching only the Powerball in the Powerball Plus.

Tomorrow’s Powerball Jackpot could be yours and get added to the list of big winners in the year 2020. The biggest lottery winner of 2019, was on the 19th of February when the jackpot was standing at a staggering R232 million, even I wouldn’t know where to start with so much money. The winner was an anonymous man from Cape Two n as confirmed by Ithuba National Lottery Holdings. This was the biggest Powerball jackpot ever and still is today.

The winner was said to be in his 50’s and bought a ticket for R22.50 in the OK mini Mart, at the Tygerdal area of Cape Town, this was also reported lottery.co.za. In 2018, the biggest jackpot winner for the Powerball walked away with R145 million, and this was a 34-year old engineer from Secunda, Mpumalanga – purchased a R20-ticket with his lucky numbers at Evander Dienstasie on 1 Rotter Dam Road, Evander.

After knowing he has won the Powerball, he became paranoid, thinking people would come and take his ticket and thus he kept it in his socks.

“It was not easy to make the call to claim the winnings. I needed to properly digest it and accept that my life has changed. Even growing up‚ I can’t say we struggled but it was a life of hustling. There was a time I spent a while looking for a job and I would never want anyone to experience that.”

In 2011, Free State Province conquered, a quick pick ticket which was bought for R10.50 at a petrol station in Langenhovenpark, Bloemfontein landed a R102 million jackpot winner. The winner explained how he almost threw the ticket in the trash bin, thinking he didn’t win anything after a struggle with a lottery scan machine.

iBusiness will ensure that you get all the latest Powerball Results as well as Lotto results as they happen. South Africans are eagerly waiting for Friday’s live draw. If you haven’t played, now is the perfect time to purchase your Powerball ticket at your local retailer who is authorized to render lottery services.

[ht_message mstyle=”info” title=”How to Play the Powerball and Powerball Plus” show_icon=”” id=”” class=”” style=”” ]

  • You can play your Powerball the same way you play your Powerball plus, however, the Powerball plus, is an optional add on to Powerball and typically cost half the cost of the main jackpot.
  • These games are on every Tuesday and Friday evening at 21:00
  • The main jackpot cost R5.00 whereas Powerball Plus cost R2.50 making a sum of R7.50 for both Powerball and Powerball Plus.
  • They are both played separately and numbers between 1 and 50 are randomly selected and with an additional Powerball number between 1 and 20
  • Tickets cannot be sold half an hour before the draw

Powerball Plus cannot be played separately. In-store you can go to the lottery retail and ask for the bet slip where you will have to mark the Powerball plus box if you wish to include it in your ticket, then pick five numbers and a Powerball on as many boards as you desire. Pick the number of draws or leave blank for a single bet, pay the ticket and wait for the draw.

Please visit the National Lottery Website for more information.
