SASSA Social Grant Payment Date Notice
SASSA announced that it will move the social grant pay date to the second day of each month effect from April 2022. Should the second fall on a weekend or on a public holiday then the payment will be made on the following working day.
These changes come as a result of the growing requests from beneficiaries to amend these payment dates to make it easier for clients to keep track of when they should expect payouts to be made.
As usual, the Older Persons and linked grants will be paid first followed by Disability grants the following day and then child grants.
