SASSA approved, no link was sent and/or deleted it by mistake

While Sassa rejected and declined over 2.8 million applications (see why) many others are struggling to send the banking details. iBusiness has received many complaints that SASSA’s approved applications haven’t received a link sent via SMS in order for applicants to send and confirm their method of payment.

Most also indicate that they have deleted the link or the SMS by mistake. The R350 coronavirus grant that’s meant for the unemployed with no income has been applied for by millions of South Africa. It has been stated that 2.8 million applications have been rejected from a possible 6.2 million applicants.

What to do when no link was sent by SASSA

Only if you haven’t received an SMS for up to 7 days after approval, that’s when you can call 0800 60 10 11 or email srd@sassa.gov.za with your complaints.

What to do when one deletes the SMS by mistake

Call 0800 60 10 11 or email srd@sassa.gov.za, ensure you explain your situation so you can be assisted effortlessly.

When you send them an email you get an automated email back from a robot and when you call the phones don’t even ring

Sassa doesn’t reply to messages and they call lines are always busy. How about we get a link where we can upload our banking details online
