The system has been crashing as millions of South Africans who were previously rejected, and now approved, fail to submit their banking details via the link that was sent by SASSA. However, most were able to submit banking details with ease while in other cases the SASSA’s SRD website crashes.
If you have been trying to send banking details via srd.sassa.gov.za without any success, the only thing that can be done is to wait until there are fewer people attempting to send the banking details. In the early hours of the morning, that’s when the website is not overloaded.
Indeed SASSA kept its promise by relooking at rejected applications, of which have now been approved. If you are still DECLINED, do not despair, your account will be reviewed as well. Those who are still pending, your account is currently been reviewed.
