SASSA SRD R350 Update for November and December (Paydays explained)

iBusiness reported the extension of the SASSA SRD Covid -19 Grant relief for the unemployed in South Africa, which has been extended until 31 January 2021. Yes, as a result those qualified, as every applicant will be checked every month, will continue to receive their R350 as per promise from SASSA and the government of South Africa.

For the month of November and December, no fixed dates have been set for payments, however, SASSA will continue to pay those qualified in groups as per usual. Everyone will be allocated a different date – thus, my payday and your payday may never be the same.

For instance, Older Person’s Grants will be paid from 03 November 2020(THIS INCLUDES ANY GRANTS LINKED TO THESE ACCOUNTS), Disability grants will be paid from 04 November 2020 (THIS INCLUDES ANY GRANTS LINKED TO THESE ACCOUNTS), All other social grants will be paid from 05 November 2020. Do not confuse these grants with the Social Relief Grant.

There isn’t a fixed day and many have not been approved for the month of November, However very soon a lot more people will gradually be approved and allocated paydays.

iBusiness will keep updating you on the relevant information needed to keep your mind at ease. It’s unfortunate that some have not received a single cent since they applied in May, while many only received a portion of the Grant, and still waiting to get the rest of the fund before they can worry about November payments – So, just know that you are not the only one.

My applicatkion was approved on May. I only received only 3 payments abd it was quiet thereafter. I’m really starving. Those payments made a difference in my daily living. I’m really wondering what the problem is now. I’ m pleading with our government to keep his promise.
