SASSA to explain Passwords, Usernames and failed status check

Their statement reads: ‘We’re currently offline for checking the status of your COVID-19 grant and uploading bank details. If you get the screen below please ignore and try again tomorrow. Our technicians will work through the night to resolve the problem please accept our apologies’

 


SASSA will be explaining soon what is happening in their end. They have been a number of complaints today as I was going through comments on iBusiness’ SASSA Status Check report.

On Thursday, many were unable to check their status as it returns a ‘Not Available’ message, and many are convinced that it is the way SASSA rejects applications. This is yet to be confirmed, as nobody knows what is happening.

There are those who are approved and they are now asked for passwords and usernames, this may be a way that SASSA will be processing approved applications, if that’s the case, all those asked for usernames and passwords will receive them via SMS or SASSA will communicate this further.

I deleted the sms that I should collect my money on post office,what can I do ? Can I sent the the bank details to sent it via bank? If yes can I have the usssd to submit my bank details

Hi I applied and was declined with no reason given. I heard the update on the radio that I must update my application but the USSD code don’t allow me to do that. I need help how to do it please.

Hi I went to post office to draw my money but was told my address don’t appear on system so they cannot pay me.
