SASSA’s Payment Schedule for the remainder of 2020/21

As iBusiness prepares a massive release of SASSA’s stories concerning the R350 grant relief and all the complaints and some of which are not resolved, SASSA has released a schedule for the remainder of the year. As a reminder, please note that all that have been rejected due to IRP5 registration can appeal to SASSA, using the email: covid19srdappeals@sassa.gov.za.

There has been a schedule released by SASSA for the remaining of the year 2020 and overlapping to 2021.

If you are not aware of the dates of the grants, they are as follows:

  • The table above shows that on the 3rd of September, SASSA will be dealing with old age and old-age-related grants only, as well as on the 5th of October, 3 November, 1 December, 4 January 2021, 3rd February 2021 and 3 March 2021
  • Disability and related grants will always be a day after the old grants,
  • All other grants will be on 7 September, 7 October, 5 November, 3 December, 6 January 2021, 5 February 2021 and 5 March 2021

If you are wondering when you will be getting the R350 grant for the month of August, please note that the COVID-19 grant relief for the unemployed has no fixed date and thus applicants are not all paid on the same dates. From the iBusiness Desk, we believe approved applicants are paid in groups.
