TymeBank clients have been unable to login to the Banking App since this morning. The bank apologized and advised customers to use Internet banking or the USSD string (*120*543#) for mobile banking.
‘Customers are unable to login to our app this morning. We assure you that we have every available team fixing the issue and hope to be back to our normal selves shortly.’
Tymebank has over 2 million customers and the number grows on a daily basis. As per the reports, the bank accumulated 120 000 new customers per month which can roughly amount to about 4000 customers per day.
The bank’s transactions have gone up to about R10 billion in customer deposits have made to date.
