Unfortunately, some events are inevitable; there is no way that we can avoid death from creeping into our lives. When a dark cloud is upon our families, we have a lot of grief to deal with – as well as funeral expenses – no matter how many funeral policies are out there, some premium no matter how low, are still a bit steep for other families, however, with the Ubank Funeral Plan, you can get peace of mind knowing that your family will be taken care of.

Ubank Funeral Plan

  • In the event that one of your family members pass on, you can be certain that your family’s funeral arrangement will be taken care of, all this for an affordable monthly payment.
  • Ubank doesn’t limit the number of children you want to add in your policy, I can imagine if Papa Penny would add all of his children, plus you can add up to four parents and nine relatives in one cover.
  • There will be no medical examination, no HIV testing.
  • There are two options for the funeral cover, namely, you can choose from Classic or Premier Option, it is up to you.
  • If you choose a Classic Option, you will be covered for up to R18 000, should decide to go with the Premier Option, you will be covered for R30 000
  • The Ubank Funeral Plan is underwritten by Metropolitan Life
  • When your claim has been approved, provided that all necessary documents have been submitted, the payout is within 48 hours from the period of the claim.
