The Ubank Transaction Account gives you access to your money, and it doesn’t matter where you are. This is easiest account that Ubank offers, and it comes with a Debit Card, it’s convenient and flexible. This is an account for anyone, whether you employed or not, no payslip is needed.

When you are in need of your statement (Transactions statement) you can get it at the branch or by calling the branch directly on 086000 8322 to speak to a consultant, if you may, you can have your debit orders linked to your Transaction Account.

Get the Debit Card and avoid carrying cash on you, you can make withdrawals on any Saswitch ATM. You can do your shopping anywhere you see a VISA sign.

With the Transaction Account, you can also get cash backs; you can make purchases outside South Africa.

What is needed to open the account?

  • You will have to produce a valid SA ID or SA Passport
  • Proof of Residence not older than 3 months (Ubank need to keep your details updated at all times, this includes your contact details – make it your duty to alert them of any changes)

You can also access your account via Ubank cellphone banking; it is advised that you visit the branch for a pricing brochure.[/ht_message]
