The JSE all share index took a slight knock closing the day at 67 341 from its opening price of 68 051.
On Tuesday the South African equity markets saw Kibo Energy PLC being the biggest loser of the day with a -27.27% loss moving from R0.11 to close the day at R0.08, whilst Chrometco Ltd. saw a 25.00% gain moving from R0.08 to R0.10, making it the biggest winner in the equity market.
Anglo American Platinum Limited has released its 2021 interim Results, showing a 28% production increase and a record adjusted Earnings before Interest, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) up by 385%
Gold slightly recovered moving from 1 797.63 USD/oz to 1 799.09 USD/oz.
Platinum slightly slipped with a -1.3% loss moving from 1 068.85 USD/oz. to 1 054.46 USD/oz.
Palladium took a slight knock yesterday closing the day at 2 611.33 USD/oz.
Oil prices largely remained flat on Tuesday with Brent Crude moving from 74.50 to closing at 74.48 USD.
