Every now and then WhatsApp comes with exciting features, and this time – this was requested by a lot of users as of now, every iPhone and Android user can enable the dark mode feature it doesn’t matter which part of the world you are.
It is a fresh look and enhances user experience even further. Dark Mode Key Areas
Readability: When choosing colors, WhatsApp wanted to minimize eye fatigue and use colors that are closer to the system defaults on iPhone and Android respectively.
Information Hierarchy: They wanted to help users easily focus their attention on each screen. WhatsApp did this by using color and other design elements to make sure the most important information stands out.
How to enable dark mode on WhatsApp
If you are using Android 10 and iOS 13, you can enable the dark mode in the system settings.
If you are still using Android 9 and below, you can go into WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Theme > select ‘Dark’.
WhatsApp dark mode is expected to roll out in a few days and the WhatsApp team hopes everyone will enjoy the dark mode.
